Impact Services Manager
Rosland Powell, MSW, the Impact Services Manager for the United Way of Association began her work with the South Carolina Service Commission in fall 2018. Rosland’s primary role consists of program management of the Volunteer Generation Fund and providing ad-hoc support to the state’s association of volunteer administrators. Rosland holds a MSW in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a MS in Nonprofit & Association Management from the University of Maryland University College. After serving a one-year term as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the South Carolina National Guard, Rosland spent many years as a social worker focusing on mental health, substance abuse, and youth leadership development initiatives. What Rosland enjoys most about working at the United Way Association are the endless opportunities for community engagement and being apart of positive change in the state. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, travel and reading!
