The statewide program provides information about and referral to health and human service resources. 

The service is available 24/7, 365 days per year. It is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.

Partnering for Impact

SC 2-1-1 has a robust database with information on over 14,000 local, state, regional and national resources. UWASC leverages its contact center assets to handle outsourcing of contact center services needed by a number of state agencies. By providing these support services, we are able to scale our 2-1-1 infrastructure and address small and large scale events alike, providing much needed service referrals to individuals and families in need. These partnerships allow us the opportunity to reinvest into direct services to South Carolinians... services that would otherwise require funding from other sources, such as disaster and emergency relief.

SC 2-1-1 makes is easier for South Carolina residents to Get Connected to the services and resources. Governmental agencies, community-based and faith-based organizations, collations, support services, and other groups are invited to join SC 2-1-1 by listing your resources in our directory. It's easy to get started, just visit SC211.org and create an account or download the Agency Application Form.

We also offer an array of support services that help to streamline processes and create greater efficiencies for agencies and their clients. Through our contact center services, not only do we handle inbound calls, but use the latest multichannel functionality to our a robust IVR, online chats, outbound texts, and outgoing calls. Our contact center agents maintain the highest levels of call center certifications. We even over multi-lingual client support for over 135 different languages.
