SC 2-1-1 serves as a safety net for all individuals needing help finding assistance, by helping improve the effectiveness and coordination of health and human services across the state.

The service is available 24/7, 365 days per year. It is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.
SC 2-1-1 has a robust database with information on over 14,000 local, state, regional and national resources. UWASC leverages its contact center assets to handle outsourcing of contact center services needed by a number of state agencies. By providing these support services, we are able to scale our 2-1-1 infrastructure and address small and large scale events alike, providing much needed service referrals to individuals and families in need. These partnerships allow us the opportunity to reinvest into direct services to South Carolinians... services that would otherwise require funding from other sources, such as disaster and emergency relief.

Governmental agencies, community-based and faith-based organizations, collations, support services, and other groups are invited to join SC 2-1-1 by listing your resources in our directory. We also offer an array of support services that help to streamline processes and create greater efficiencies for agencies and their clients. Through our contact center services, not only do we handle inbound calls, but use the latest multichannel functionality to our a robust IVR, online chats, outbound texts, and outgoing calls.
